Solution:

Reduce ink viscosity.

Add small amounts of slower drying solvents or speed up the press.

Solution:

Maintain correct amount of ink in the sump.

Blade angle is too sharp.

Solution:

Flatten wipe of the blade.

Problem:

Impression is lacking.

Solution:

Check impression setting and durometer of the impression roll.
