Day Tank Contaminated

When the over varnish is picking up color, it might not affect the can.

Problem:

Not enough volume of varnish.

Solution:

Increase the varnish flow by increasing the metering roller gap or changing to a bigger gravure cylinder.

Over varnish viscosity is not correct.

Solution:

Ask an operator to check the viscosity.

Solution:

Reduce chiller temperature.

Replace pre-spin belt.
