Misting occurs when there is an excessive ink spray (fine droplets) coming from the rollers to the rest of the decorator. It is an inherit part of the can decorating process.
Cooling system not efficient. Ink temperature in the duct over 35ºC.
Check doctor roller temperature.

Ensure chiller is not clogged and check temperature.

Reduce the ink film weight by closing the fountain.

The ink is too low in viscosity.
Remove extra solvent from the formula.

Check the roller parrallelism.
